The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) may soon approve the Pfizer vaccine. The agency is expected to approve the vaccine as soon as Friday, now that an independent panel has voted in favor of an emergency use authorization.
Dr. Anthony Fauci said in a new interview that life could get back to normal by fall 2021. He said that if the vaccine rollout is smooth and people get vaccinated, "We could get back to some form of normality, reasonably quickly. Into the summer, and certainly into the fall."
One biotech conference in Boston led to 245,000 infections, according to a new study. The conference took place in February, before social distancing and mask-wearing were advised.
